Porchlight Sobriety Tracker ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

•Account Information: Name and email address when you create an account through our authentication provider.

•Recovery Data: Sobriety date, daily check-in responses (mood, anxiety, depression, stress levels, cravings), and journal entries that you voluntarily submit.

•Community Content: Posts and replies you share in the community message board.

•Purchase Information: Records of in-app purchases (processed securely through Apple/Google payment systems).

•Email Preferences: Whether you have opted in to receive email communications.

How We Use Your Information

•To provide and maintain the app's core functionality (sobriety tracking, check-ins, journal, course access).

•To sync your data across devices when you are logged in.

•To send you recovery-related email content, only if you have explicitly opted in.

•To send push notifications about group meetings, only if you have enabled notifications.

•To moderate community content and ensure a safe environment.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

•ActiveCampaign: If you opt in to email communications, your email address and name are shared with ActiveCampaign for email delivery. No health or recovery data is shared.

•Apple App Store / Google Play: Payment processing for in-app purchases is handled entirely by Apple or Google.

•RevenueCat: Purchase verification and subscription management.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. Your recovery and health-related data (check-ins, journal entries, sobriety date) is never shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. Local data (sobriety date, preferences) is stored on your device using secure storage. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which will permanently remove all your personal data, check-ins, journal entries, and community posts from our servers. Local data on your device can be removed by uninstalling the app.

Your Rights

•Access: You can view all your data within the app at any time.

•Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings.

•Opt-Out: You can change your email communication preferences at any time in Settings.

•Portability: Contact us to request a copy of your data.

Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
