1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Porchlight Sobriety Tracker mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Porchlight Sobriety Tracker is a mental health and recovery support application designed to help users track their sobriety journey, complete recovery coursework, access grounding techniques, and connect with support resources. The App is provided on an "as-is" basis for personal, non-commercial use.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others.

  • You agree not to harass, threaten, or cause distress to any individual.

  • You agree not to obscure, remove, or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App.

4. Mental Health Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Porchlight Sobriety Tracker is a supportive tool and NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or suicidal thoughts, please immediately contact:

5. User Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Biometric and Location Features

  • Biometric Lock: Optional Face ID, Touch ID, or Fingerprint authentication with PIN fallback. Opt-in only, can be disabled in Settings.

  • Location Safety Alerts: Optional location-based alerts for nearby high-risk venues. Opt-in only, uses device location services.

Both features require explicit consent and can be disabled in Settings > Privacy & Security.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Porchlight Fitness & Wellness and protected by United States and international copyright and trademark laws.

8. User-Generated Content

You retain all rights to content you create within the App. By uploading content, you grant Porchlight Fitness & Wellness a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for providing and improving the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PORCHLIGHT FITNESS & WELLNESS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. PORCHLIGHT FITNESS & WELLNESS MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE APP.

11. Termination

Porchlight Fitness & Wellness reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
